Sending 1095-B Tax Forms to Members

Health Alliance began mailing 1095-B forms to members on February 18. As we previously reported, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) extended 2 deadlines for required reporting by health insurance issuers under the Affordable Care Act.

New deadline for sending individuals the 2015 forms 1095-B and 1095-C:

• March 31, 2016 (previously February 1)

New deadline for filing the 2015 forms 1095-B, 1094-C, and 1095-C with the IRS:

• If filing electronically: May 31, 2016 (previously February 29)

• If not filing electronically: June 30, 2016 (previously March 31)
